Introducing our new Communications & Events Assistant to the LAA team!
Erika Johnson graduated from the Neighborhood Leadership Academy program (NLA21), was the Bertina Nick Scholarship recipient, and graduated from the Leadership Anne Arundel Flagship program (FLG22).
She is joining us as the former project manager for OMNI Business Solutions, located at the National Science Foundation in Alexandria, Virginia. She is the founder and CEO of PrettyGirl Academy, Incorporated, a mentoring program for underrepresented girls. And she is a Student Support Teacher for the Alternative Center for Education (ACE South) for Anne Arundel County Public Schools.
Erika earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in graphic design from Morgan State University. And she is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
She was born and raised in Edgewater, Maryland, and has grown to love Anne Arundel County strongly.
