The primary objective of LAA Alumni Development Events is to increase membership value for LAA Alumni by offering ongoing leadership skill development through a diverse menu of continued learning opportunities.
LAA Alumni Development Events benefit the whole community by serving as the go-to resource for leadership skill development in Anne Arundel County.
Apply to be an Event Champion!
Alumni Development Events are created by LAA Member "Event Champions" to benefit more than 1500 LAA graduates and the community at large. Although LAA Staff supports all event logistics (venue and/or virtual coordination, marketing, etc.), Event Champions take the lead on agenda, content and sponsor development.
All LAA Members in good standing are invited to submit an Event Champion Application for review by the Alumni Forum. Event formats are detailed below along with links to event application forms.

Note on Timing: During the COVID-19 pandemic these events will primarily be held virtually. When events are held in-person, an additional 30 minutes will be added to allow for registration and networking in advance of the presentation.
