The LAA Tribute to Community Leadership & Graduation celebrates more than 25 years of contributions, collaboration, innovation, and leadership of more than 1,600 graduates of Leadership Anne Arundel.

These leaders have transformed our community's landscape by serving throughout public, private, non-profit, and government sectors. This high profile event celebrates and recognizes the importance of their collective engagement and participation in the local community. 

Tribute also celebrates the graduation of the Flagship and Neighborhood Leadership Academy classes. Community stakeholders are recognized at the event with the  Excellence in Leadership and Distinguished Graduate Awards and the Bertina Nick NLA Flagship Scholarship honoree is announced.


The LAA Tribute to Community Leadership & Graduation is a unifying event at the intersection of personal, professional and community leadership. Reconnect with classmates and develop new connections!

       - Celebrate Flagship Program and Neighborhood Leadership Academy Graduating Classes
       - Hear from Excellence in Leadership Honoree, Hospice of the Chesapeake; Distinguished Graduate Honorees The Honorable Cathleen M. Vitale (FLG04)and Jerray Slocum (FLG20) and special guests

Cost:     Annual Member and Lifetime Member Rate - $25.00

              Alumni Non-Member - $45.00

              General Public - $65.00

              Current Classes (graduates) - Free with Advanced Registration

Already Registered? Here are your “Know Before You Go” details:

Parking and Entering the Casino:   
Please park in the complimentary parking garage adjacent to the Casino.  Take the main elevators located in the center of the parking garage down to the Casino level.  Enter the Casino in between Bobby’s Burger Palace and The Cheesecake Factory.  Once you walk through the ropes, walk straight across the Casino to get to the back wall.  Once across the Casino, go to the right and you will see a large lit sign saying The Hall.  If in doubt, please don’t hesitate to ask a Live! employee. 

Note:  All guests must be 21 years or older since you will be walking through the Casino.
 

The agenda for the evening:

5:30 pm - Registration & Celebration Begins
-Heavy appetizers and 2 drink tickets will be provided with your registration - a cash bar will be available after that.
-Seating is Open - some seats will be reserved for sponsors and award honorees; all other guests may sit in any seat at any open table.

6:15 pm - Program Begins

7:30 pm - Program Ends

8:00 pm - Event Ends

As we are all navigating COVID spikes, if you are fully vaccinated, you are not required to wear a face covering; however: 
If you are not fully vaccinated, please wear a face mask.
If you feel more comfortable with a face covering, please wear a mask.
If you are not feeling well or have a temperature, please do not attend.
