Ignite Annapolis is BACK!

Ignite Annapolis is scheduled for September, 22, 2022 at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts!   

In March 2020 Ignite Annapolis #5 was POSTPONED due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic. The Ignite Annapolis organizing team is currently confirming with speakers who were all set to present two years ago. Most of them are returning! Stay tuned for ticket updates and our final speaker list coming soon. If you purchased a ticket in 2020 (and did not request a refund) you will be contacted about this year’s event. Ignite Annapolis will honor all ticket holders. Additional tickets will go on sale later this summer.

Ignite Annapolis is a high-energy evening of 5-minute talks by people who have a burning idea—and the guts to get on stage and share it with their hometown crowd.

The evening is produced in partnership with Leadership Anne Arundel. This follows a successful Ignite Annapolis #4, held in March 2019, which attracted a sold-out crowd of over 700 people.

All proceeds from the not-for-profit Ignite Annapolis #5 will go to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank.

The Ignite Annapolis Organizing Team

At Ignite Annapolis, 16 artists, technologists, thinkers, and personalities get 5 minutes and 20 slides to spark new conversations and collaborations across cultures and disciplines. Ignite is a geek event in over 100 cities worldwide. At the events, Ignite presenters share their personal and professional passions, using 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds for a total of just five minutes. Ignite your curiosity at Ignite Annapolis!

Evening timeline:
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Cocktails and Networking
(Cash and credit accepted for beer/wine/water – there will be complimentary snacks too!)
7:00 pm – 9:00 pm Presentations with a 20 minute Intermission (Cash bar and complimentary snacks)
